catwalk

i love people with style.
no, not the people that take the mannequin at Nordy's to the register, i mean people with real style. style that is their own, style that was imagined, searched for, created, and perfected.
everyone does it differently, but there aren't wrong answers.
that's the thing with style, it is often imitated, but never duplicated. even if we try to copy Victoria Beckham's fabulous frock, we will never look "posh spice" enough.
but that's why it's so great! because we are SUPPOSED to make it our own.
fashion is self expression on steroids.
i can't believe it took me 19 years to figure this out. but i love it.

negligence.

i blame my recent disappearance from the blogging community on a couple of things:

first: people actually read it.
i know that is like the whole point of having a blog, but i don't think that fact sunk into my fat head until i had people bring up embarrassing things that i wouldn't have included in a post if i thought someone might actualy read it. i figured if no one listened to me in real life, why would they care about my ranting and raving online?.

second: not a whole lot to complain about.
since my little blog is my diary (if you will), it is only used when an event worth reporting happens. but the truth is, lately i've been in a rut. nothing good to report on, but nothing devastating.

third: i've been busy.
yep. no need for clarification there.

that's all.
